Vision for a New Library
Our Library is the second smallest in the state. The Library has outgrown its space, forcing more than 90% of its programs to be held in alternative locations, while usage has continued to increase. Our goal is to expand, furnish and equip our library to better meet community needs. In cooperation with the Town, we are hoping to renovate the Old Fire Hall. It is our hope to create a flexible space with movable walls and furnishings.
Ultimately, we expect this project to cost $300,000-$400,000. Grants, community support, and private donations will be key to moving this project forward.
